After watching the show on kids after Katrina and how slow the rebuild is I began thinking about our kind. Yes I said our kind. I don't look at the world in colors of skin or religion. I look at people as martial artists and non-martial artists (nonmas).

But, I wondered about all the studios that were destroyed and the martial artists that were displaced. I would love to be able to do something to help them.

Ha ha, "our kind", you're funny. I guess I am the same. If you're a martial artist you're part of a global brotherhood. Unless you're one of those bad karate kids from the Karate Kid movie.

Yeah, I wonder. But no doubt those martial artists have moved on and founded other schools, or found other places to study. That's one of the beauties of martial arts, that it's a low-entry business. It doesn't take a fortune to lease a space and buy a few mats. Then if you're successful you can expand.
