Managed to have a pretty decent first class of the year yesterday. We worked on three knife defense techniques which were pretty much new to everyone. They're based on empty-hand techniques that I know, but the weapon makes it a little different.After an incident earlier where one guy nearly took out his own eye with a wooden knife, we're using the floppy rubber ones now. Rain workoout
I did my almost-daily workout in the rain today, it was pouring down as it often does here. Awful to start of course, but after I got warmed up it was pretty nice.
I'm fortunate to have a nice big garden to work out in, although there's hardly a level surface in sight. Makes those TKD forms challenging again...
